Pottermore Publishing has revealed its eBook cover for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: The Journey, which is the official behind-the-scenes book of the production and its journey to the stage.

The book is chock-full of beautiful colour photography as well never-before-seen sketches and candid backstage images.

The book explores Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from the earliest phases of development with producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, to the crafting of the eighth story with J.K. Rowling, director John Tiffany and playwright Jack Thorne, and the bringing together of the extraordinary team of artists and actors who took this new part of Harry Potter’s story to the stage. You’ll be told about the development of the movement and magic that has been so celebrated, the all-important WHAM (Wigs, Hair and Makeup) department, and the stunning set design in theatres across the world.

The eBook is released globally on 31 October and is available for pre-order now. It is being published in print by Scholastic in the US and Little Brown in the UK.
