Following exciting cast drops for the new productions from Pottermore and Audible, we are now delighted to reveal all seven stunning cover designs.
Today, we are thrilled to unveil the set of spellbinding covers for the new full-cast editions as we await the publication of the Philosopher’s Stone of 4th November 2025. Each cover offers a glimpse into moments that fans will be able to experience as they listen to the audiobooks. Whether you’re just being introduced to the Harry Potter series or have been a fan for years, the covers will be sure to delight, depicting newly imagined scenes full of Easter eggs and fan-favourite characters.
With creative direction from the Audible team, we worked closely together to develop the concept of “moments of reflection” to steer the direction of these new illustrations. As listeners and readers journey through the wizarding world, they will come to learn that things are not always as they seem, this over-arching theme from the stories was the inspiration for our creative. Each cover cleverly hides one image within another, using reflections as a tool to incorporate a variety of surprises.
We knew it may be a challenge to create cover art that felt distinct from our best-selling single-voice editions whilst also not being too far removed from our visual brand identity, but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. With this new ‘reflections’ style, along with new scenes that have never been depicted before across all print and digital editions worldwide, we hope you can agree that each cover is complementary to our previous editions whilst simultaneously feeling new and fresh.
When asked about the covers, Audible’s Senior Creative Director, Josh Pelzek, said “Bringing these covers to life has been an incredible journey and a true privilege. Our aim was to deliver a bold, unexpected interpretation of these beloved characters, locations and scenes – all while preserving the spirit of the remarkable artwork that has come before. The designs are full of surprises, mirroring the layered and immersive quality of the Full-Cast Audio Editions themselves. We think the results feel both strikingly fresh and instantly familiar, and we’re honored to unveil them to the world.”
Pottermore’s Creative Lead, Akin Cankorur, has said “We’re genuinely so proud of how these covers have evolved from exploration through to final delivery. Seeing these key Harry Potter moments be brought to life in a way that captures the emotions of the characters in a way that is truly unique was a privilege to be part of. With the inclusion of a reflective image in each of the covers you truly start to appreciate the layered storytelling elements within the creative.”
Each illustration tells its own story, from The Philosopher’s Stone cover showing the first time Harry lays his eyes on the magnificent Hogwarts castle, all the way to The Deathly Hallows where the start of the high stakes battle of Hogwarts is perfectly encapsulated.
We’re so happy to finally have a treat for the eyes as well as the ears as we gear up for the listening experience of a lifetime.
