13th May 2026

Following the landmark success of the English-Language full-cast audio editions, the journey continues – this time for German listeners.

Yesterday, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: The Full-Cast Audio Edition was published exclusively on Audible, bringing the brand-new audio productions of the Harry Potter stories in English to their epic finale. Yet – the adventure begins in German…

Building on the remarkable success of these English-language releases, Pottermore Publishing and Audible have announced that the full-cast editions of the Harry Potter stories will now be brought to life in German. Collectively, the English editions reached one million sales within the first thirty days, marking a major milestone for immersive audio storytelling. Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen will launch on 10 November 2026, with the remaining six titles releasing monthly thereafter. All seven unabridged editions are available to pre-order now.

Like their English-language counterparts, these German productions are being created on an epic scale. Featuring cinematic sound design in Dolby Atmos, original scoring, real-world sound capture and performances from more than 150 voice actors, the series sets a new benchmark for audio entertainment in the market.

These brand-new full cast recordings will sit alongside the much-loved single voice German editions, narrated by Rufus Beck and Felix Von Manteuffel. Their iconic performances remain undisputed favourites among fans and continue to offer listeners a way to experience the magic of Hogwarts.

With production already underway, German audiences will soon find themselves transported to Hogwarts from the very first listen. Further announcements, including the reveal of key cast members, will be shared over the coming months.

So, mark your calendars and get your headphones ready, the journey towards Harry Potter und der Stein der Wiesen, The Full-Cast Audio Edition has begun!
