Pottermore Publishing release digital editions of Dobby and Hagrid Pocket Potters.
The two eBooks join the existing five titles in the collection, comprising of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna and Dumbledore, on the 13th August 2026. Pocket Potters are the perfect companion to the Harry Potter™ series for introducing younger readers to the wizarding world and inviting them to learn more about its beloved characters. In these latest editions, fans can discover how Dobby and other house-elves keep busy working at Hogwarts and all about Hagrid’s history before he became Hogwarts gamekeeper.
The beautiful illustrations in the digital editions are best experienced on full-coloured devices and hold up to the playful charm of the print editions, published by Bloomsbury in the UK and Scholastic in the US. Both books were brought to life by different illustrators. Olia Muza captured gentle giant Rubeus Hagrid’s fierce loyalty and Helen Brady depicted Dobby the house-elf’s limitless bravery. Both Muza and Brady, who previously illustrated the Ron Weasley and Luna Lovegood Pocket Potters respectively, are huge Harry Potter fans and capture the wonder of the wizarding world in these magical mini guides. Their enchanting illustrations hope to captivate readers as they unlock delightful facts and details of these fan favourite characters.
Pottermore worked closely with Circular Software to ensure the eBook editions are harmonious with the European Accessibility Act (E.A.A). As with the first five Pocket Potters, these eBooks include Alt Text and offer a guided page navigation that allows for a fluid reading experience.
