What I do in my current role?

I look after the distribution of our title information and the eBook and audiobook files themselves to our partners, making sure the right people get the right products and supporting data. Part of this involves beefing up the details we hold about our books as the book industry’s communication language (ONIX) lets us express more and more about each title, and part of it is coordinating between our teams to gather the information and files they’re the experts on, ready to share.

What character from the wizarding world do you identify with the most and why?

Either Ollivander (I could picture myself as some sort of peculiar purveyor – there may be regular daydreams of a creakily held-together bookshop), or for unhealthily longwinded rambles about interests and a totally-under-control competitive streak, Oliver Wood.

Which house do you belong to – and do you think you’ve been correctly sorted?

Invariably, I land in Ravenclaw: ‘Intelligence, learning, wisdom, wit’. Not so sure about the intelligence and wisdom, but on account of being a big old swot in school, a fan of puzzles and riddles, and sarcastic to a fault, it seems a good fit!

A fact about me that surprises people

Buried under my more reserved, backrooms persona, I moonlight as a spoken word poet and voiceover artist.
